With METS' expertise in the oil and gas industry, getting the right deals for
the right principal is our expertise. METS' experience in energy trading started
with its first brokering deal in commodity of marine fuel oil 380 cSt. More
commodities were negotiated, eg Mazut, D2 and Coal. As a total service provider,
METS also ventures into brokering the charter of tankers or bulk carriers for the
carriage of the commoditiesas. It is expected that this will lead to eventual sale
and purchase of the tankers and bulk carriers.
Coal
METS works with reliable and efficient mining companies, land and sea transportation
and stevedoring companies to ship steaming coal mainly from Indonesia to other parts of Asia.
Such companies that METS works with are only the ones who care about the environment while
extracting energy from mother nature earth and who care about the safety of the people
doing the mining and transportation.
Calorific values of coal shipped range from 5100 to 5900 kcal with the higher caloric valued coal being shipped in very small quantities due to strict export controls. Prices strictly based on FOB mother vessel at anchorages.
Oil
METS is a new player in oil trading. Though new, METS is supported by reputable suppliers
from the ME, Russia and as far away as from Venezuela. Direct and indirect supplies including
deliveries, can be profesionally negiated and arranged. Mazut, D2 and IFO can be supplied in
quantities suitable for the passage.
