Training Services

Enhance Your Potential

While METS will deploy its abundant met expertise to conduct met and marine simulation projects in Singapore, it will also seize opportunities to build and operate its own met Centre (METC) or operate METC of other training service providers. In offering its expertise to run met courses in Singapore, METS will initially focus its expertise on non-mandatory igh-level met such as Bridge Resource Management (BRM), Maritime Resource Management (MRM), Shiphandling and Marine Crisis Management Courses. These are extension and enrichment courses that are to reinforce the requirements of STCW 95. METS will also run Command Assessment Programs (CAP) for companies in selecting the suitable officers for promotion to any ranks on board their vessels. These programs are necessary for many reputable oil majors, marine insurance companies and charterers. METS will expand into providing services to conduct all levels of met (including those which are essentials and elevation courses), mandatory maritime courses and operating METCs in Singapore and overseas.
